We are currently looking for an individual with comprehensive administrative experience to fill the position of Coordinator. Coordinators interface with clients, assessors, committee members, and staff to coordinate the delivery of accreditation and assessment services. This position can be based out of our Fort Wayne, IN or Washington, DC office. This position may also be remote. Some overnight travel may be required.

This role will work directly with our accreditation programs for management systems certification (e.g., ISO 9001), product certification (e.g., EPA Energy Star ®), and validation and verification (e.g., Greenhouse Gas reductions and removals).  

Coordinators play an integral part in our operations where they are responsible for scheduling required assessments on time, tracking and follow-up on required actions (e.g., application reviews, assessment planning documentation, assessment reports, invoices), maintaining records including database entry, and communicating verbally and in writing to customers, staff, assessors, and various stakeholders.

Candidates will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.  A high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.

    • Analytical and critical thinking; understanding complex information and evaluating that information to make a sound judgment.

    • Problem solving based on routine tasks.

    • Understanding of quality principles; continuous learning, customer focus, and teamwork skills.

    • The capability and desire to learn a foundational level of understanding of the accreditation business, products, markets, personnel, etc.

  • Technical skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

    • Above average typing skills.

    • Ability to learn additional databases and IT platforms.

  • Behavioral skills: Ethical, professional, interpersonal

    • Professional demeanor and ability to balance respect, decisiveness, and tenacity.

    • Demonstrated capacity to embrace change.

    • Ability to manage work under pressure.
