The Machine Operator supports the Production process by operating and maintaining various Production machines.
Maintains good safety procedures while setting up and operating machines such as wave solder, select solder, automated coating, etc.
Performs routine adjustments and minor, daily maintenance of the machines and makes minor program adjustments, when necessary
Performs hand spraying of coating, when necessary
Works from manufacturing work instructions, layouts, process sheets, and prints
Utilizes computer systems for information and to track production programs
HS diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year experience with electronics manufacturing
Able to work second shift work hours (10% shift premium included)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to interpret drawings, specs, charts, tables, and schedules together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments
Basic computer skills
May require handling or exposure to chemicals used in the production area
Vision corrected to 20/20
Successful completion of the following training programs: Component Identification; Right-to-Know; ESD; Part Installation; Moisture Sensitive Devices handling; customer-specific training requirements, as needed
Involves both standing and sitting during daily support initiatives; occasional lifting or moving parts/material over 60 pounds
Ability to obtain a US Government granted security clearance, if required
