Job Description

We are currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Administrators.
We welcome the semi-retired or retired workers too!  Come work with us on a flexible schedule! Apply and inquire below!

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dedicated Senior 401(k) Administrator who wants to delight clients. The ideal candidate will be well organized, self-motivated and able to manage their own caseload, including deadlines. Administrators are responsible for all aspects of engagement management, including compliance testing, distribution and loan processing and regulatory reporting. We are looking for an individual willing to roll up their sleeves and handle any and all tasks related to the engagement.

This position offers highly-experienced candidates the flexibility to work from home or on-site at one of our offices (Charlottesville, VA, Columbia, MD, and Pasadena, CA).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years recent hands-on 401(k) administration experience for candidates who require a home office work arrangement. Less than 5 years of hands-on experience will be considered for on-site candidates.
  • Very strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Experience working “unbundled” with national daily recordkeeping platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and client service skills.
  • Plan design, consulting and plan document preparation experience are highly desirable.
  • Experience with ASC, FT Williams, Relius, DaTair, or PensionPro software is required.
  • Qualified Pension or 401(k) Administrator certification is a plus (QPA, QKA).

Benefits:
We offer challenging work, a competitive salary, and an outstanding opportunity for career growth for the right candidate. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, HSA employer contribution, 401(k) with match, paid time off (3 weeks starting) and association dues assistance.

We work hard, but we also have fun. As a Blue Ridge employee, you will be a part of a company that supports charitable activities through fundraising and volunteer work. You'll enjoy a reasonable client load, healthy work-life balance (flexible hours/shifts), competitive salary, annual performance bonuses, commissions when clients purchase add on services, use of our comprehensive proprietary ESOP administration software, etc. In addition we celebrate our successes and you'll have opportunities to shine by joining one of our committees: teambuilding, communications, newsletter, picnic and charitable action, or by volunteering for a special project that calls your name.

Don't miss this opportunity to become a part of our dynamic organization!
