Job Description
We take pride in working with our passengers to provide the best travel experience.  We are seeking friendly and helpful individuals who will share our passion in delivering excellent service to our traveling customers.  The Lead Ticket Counter Agent will be responsible for the, training and scheduling staff, assist selling tickets to the public, as well providing information on fares, schedules, etc. up to and including being responsible for balancing income with daily sales. 

Must have strong customer service skills.     Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

The Ticket Counter Agent will be responsible for selling tickets to the public, as well providing information on fares, schedules, etc. up to and including being responsible for balancing income with daily sales. 

Performs all of the following duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned:
 
  • Responsible for all ticket and money transactions, including reimbursement to the Company for lost or misuse of tickets, and any shortages occurring when balancing daily deposits with sales.
  • Provides customers with schedule and fare information.
  • Books travel and provide customers with various prices and information as needed.
  • Accepts full responsibility for all Company monies in their custody.
  • Performs all clerical functions on a daily basis accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Handles customer service issues and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Provides assistance to customers and fellow employees (including drivers).
KEY SKILLS:
 
  • Customer Service – Greeting travelers with a smile and excellent service responding to all their travel questions and needs.
  • Computer Skills – Basic computer skills are required, we will train on our customized systems.
  • Attention to Detail – Accuracy and proficiency in sales and cash draw balancing.
