POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an opening for a CCS Team Leader in our GROW CCS East program! The CCS Team Leader (CommSCSIII) works within the team to provide clinical supervision and support to clinical staff. The Team Leader is also responsible for providing culturally sensitive recovery oriented, trauma-sensitive, direct clinical services to consumers and works through a lens of cultural humility and recovery.  The CCS Team Leader is responsible for writing and maintaining accurate and timely documentation, for case management of their own consumers (with a reduced case load), and consumers of the staff under their supervision. Additionally, this position is responsible for serving as a Mental Health Professional within the Dane County Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program, which includes providing professional clinical supervisory services to JMHC Service Facilitators within the Dane County CCS framework.  The CCS Team Leader also participates in the hiring and interview process of staff.  This position will support/assist programmatic needs as they arise, including but not limited to program expansion, training new staff, and quality assurance efforts.

FOLLOWING IS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The CCS Team Leader reports directly to the CCS Clinical Team Manager.  Annual billable are 960.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
Education/Licensure
  • Master’s degree in a related human services field. 
  • Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT or LPC, or eligibility to become licensed in the State of Wisconsin within 6 months of hire. 
  • Certification (or eligibility) for MA Provider status and HSS 61.96 (2) (3) certification to bill insurance companies for mental health and/or SUD services.
Experience
  • Extensive experience in behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, case management and crisis resolution with consumers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • A strong systems theory perspective and a good working knowledge of, and ability to relate to a wide variety of service and academic agencies.
  • A strong commitment to the provision of culturally sensitive, customer-oriented service delivery.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed mental health and substance abuse service provision, and familiarity and experience with at least one evidence-based MH intervention/treatment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing).
  • Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team with a positive and creative attitude.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, a favorable driving record, adequate insurance (per WI law) and access to a vehicle with willingness to use it for work (i.e., transporting consumers.
Working Conditions
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or submission of ongoing PCR test results required. 
  • May require evening or weekend hours depending on program and consumer’s needs.
Typical Physical Demands
Requires driving, sitting, standing, light lifting, bending, and reaching; and the ability to use and operate standard office equipment, including computer, calculator, phone, printer, cell phone, facsimile, etc.

PREFERRED
  • Licensed to treat substance use disorders via SAC-IT, SAC, SUD or CSAC.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish, Hmong, American Sign Language.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A.  Provision of Clinical Services
  1. Performs accurate assessments with consumers to evaluate mental health, alcohol and drug abuse, developmental disabilities, and other life issues, and appropriateness for treatment. Completes assessments in a culturally sensitive, recovery oriented, trauma sensitive manner within the context of the consumer’s perspectives and beliefs.
  2. Provides a range of clinical services including individual, family, and group counseling in a context that is supportive of the consumer’s family, culture, values, and perspectives.
  3. Completes accurate clinical records including intakes, assessments, treatment plans and updates, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other information in a timely manner.
  4. Provides case management and other therapeutic services as necessary.
  5. Provides consultation and support related to areas of specialization.
B.  Administrative Leadership/Supervisory Tasks
  1. Provide clinical consultation, review, and oversight to clinical team members, and through consultation, education, instruction, and counsel, assure the general clinical and cultural competence of all services delivered to consumers.
  2. Assists with interview, hiring process, and training for new staff.  May also provide direct on-boarding support of new staff across the program.
  3. Review the performance and goals for all staff in his/her supervision group on an annual and/or as needed basis, including productivity goals.
  4. Provide clinical back up for all staff in his/her supervision group and/or the program as needed.
  5. Coordinate and oversee a system of appropriate clinical charting procedures that ensure the program's compliance with JMHC, County and State guidelines and mandates.  Review documentation for accuracy and timely completion
  6. Provides regular, weekly clinical supervision to staff. Provides evaluations of staff. 
  7. Serves as a Mental Health Professional/Substance Use Professional on the GROW/PROPs/Yahara House teams.
  8. Approve and monitor scheduling, time off requests, training requests and other aspects of each member of his/her team.
C.  JMHC Participation
  1. Attend and/or lead staff meetings, in-service trainings, and other program activities.
  2. Participates in JMHC committees, trainings, and activities as desired and/or directed.
  3. Provides consultation to other JMHC programs as necessary.
  4. Performs other duties as necessary or directed.

$54,481 - $65,565 p/yr
Generous Paid Time Off! Prorated based on hire date and FTE, new staff accrue 5 weeks during first year, and accrue 6 weeks beginning on first year anniversary.
