Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Building Events Operations Assistant to join our team.
This position will provide support to the Building Events Planning Manager. They will assist with the electrical setups for Conference and Events and Building Activations and is an integral member of the Operations team.
Essential Functions
Interact with Sales and Event Planners with regards to upcoming events
Oversee small and large event related electrical set-ups and tear down
Conduct weekly building and event spaces inspections and submit the work orders
Conduct building and event space site visits with the Event Planners
Oversee large and small special projects for example; painting, carpet repairs, podium repairs and refinishing
Work closely with outside vendors during approved projects and sign off upon completion
Set-up event spaces for upcoming scheduled client move in
Schedule and oversee event coverage
Schedule and oversee load-outs
Attend weekly meetings such as BEO and Operations meetings
Job Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in building maintenance operations
Comfortable with employee and staff interactions
A good communicator
Self-motivated and results oriented
Must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed
Environment
Must be able to perform general physical labor, which includes the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
