DB Consulting Group, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of flight controller applications for NASA’s Johnson Space Center Mission Control Center. These applications are used to support the International Space Station as well as newer space vehicles such the Boeing Starliner and Lockheed Martin’s Orion.This individual will work in a team environment and will be responsible for software design, coding, and testing. Additionally, the applicant will be responsible for providing written documentation (e.g., user guides) and training to the users, as well as providing both oral and written status to those overseeing the work.
Experience Requirements:
C++ and Java experience, with good understanding of Object Oriented programming
Unix or Linux Operating System experience
Must be able to pass a government background check and meet basic security clearance requirements
Experience with software configuration management tools like Subversion and Git desired
Experience with Integrated Development Environments like Netbeans and Eclipse desired
Knowledge of Agile development practices desired

Education Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or similar degree
