Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service.  We are seeking a full-time Social Media & Digital Content Specialist that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Summary: For more than 50 years, Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers has provided medical, behavioral, and environmental health services primarily to the Hispanic/Latinx community in Milwaukee and Waukesha. A strategic and creative thinker, this position will play a primary role in developing and implementing digital strategies as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.

The mission of Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers is to improve the health and well-being of Milwaukee and surrounding communities, by providing quality, patient-centered, family-based health care, health education and social services, free from linguistic, cultural, and economic barriers.

Job Responsibilities:
 
  1. With guidance from the Director of Communications, plans and executes a social media strategy that strengthens our brand and builds engagement with target audiences (i.e., patients, donors, community partners).
  2. Develops and executes strategic, integrated digital marketing campaigns to achieve desired results.
  3. Creates and implements a robust content calendar for organic and paid social media posts in collaboration with the Director of Communications and other stakeholders, ensuring content is timely and relevant.
  4. Writes, designs, and publishes compelling content for all digital channels, including social media, agency website, and e-newsletters.
  5. Designs all graphics needed for social media channels and digital platforms.
  6. Proactively seeks out stories, successes, program features, and staff profiles to share across platforms.
  7. Utilizes storytelling on social channels to engage, motivate, and inspire target audiences.
  8. Actively manages our social media presence, including monitoring for community engagement/conversation opportunities and responding appropriately to comments and messages.
  9. Tracks, analyzes, and reports on social media metrics to determine campaign performance and effectiveness, as well as to support recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  10. Actively manages agency website and intranet by creating engaging content and executing timely updates.
  11. Provides editorial support and executes distribution of email marketing campaigns and agency e-newsletters.
  12. Assists with creation of marketing materials to meet agency needs.
  13. Leads interaction with internal customers on project intake and recommends solutions to match the challenge or opportunity.
  14. Works with Director of Communications on internal communications, PR and other development efforts as needed. 
Qualifications: 
 
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years in a marketing or communications role with an emphasis on digital marketing and social media.
  3. Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish with a native or bilingual fluency.
  4. Experience developing organic and paid social media strategies and content.
  5. Expert knowledge of social media platforms and content management tools (i.e., Sprout Social).
  6. Excellent writing skills with the ability to develop compelling and audience/tone-appropriate content.
  7. Skilled in analyzing and interpreting data from digital channels, providing reports and recommendations.
  8. Organized with the ability to meet short deadlines and execute on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively with exceptional customer service skills.
  10. Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of information, spelling, and grammar.
  11. Video development a plus.
  12. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, social media reporting systems, web content management systems, Constant Contact, SEO desired.
