WHAT YOU WILL DO - Research, design, implement, and deploy computer vision algorithms for iRobot robots - Work on an R&D prototype that will have immediate impact on millions of robots - Participate in the creation of the next generation of consumer robots at iRobot TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL HAVE - Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, Mathematics, or related fields - Experience in Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning - Strong skills in C/C++/Python - Knowledge of Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques such as 3D geometry, pose estimation from images, object detection, semantic segmentation, and depth estimation - Good understanding of design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Passion for Computer Vision and Robotics IN RETURN YOU CAN EXPECT TO - Work on exciting problems in robotics with a large installed base of consumer robots - Collaborate with leading scientists in the field of Computer Vision - Take pride in having deployed a practical solution impacting millions of users
