BASIC FUNCTION:

The Senior Salesforce Platform Product Owner will be responsible for managing the Salesforce Platform which support our Digital and Credit Delivery solutions. The Senior Salesforce Platform Product Owner will manage the priorities of an Agile delivery team and any necessary implementation partners for continued iterative development aligned to key deliverables identified in American AgCredit's strategic initiatives. Under the direction of the Head of Product Management & Delivery for the Digital and Credit capabilities, the Senior Salesforce Platform Product Owner will work closely with the Business Transformation group and other delivery teams to establish a strong Salesforce Governance and Operating model to keep our platform healthy and optimized. You will work with key stakeholders across the Association including Architecture, Enterprise Delivery Office, Marketing, Credit, Treasury Management Solutions, Subject Matter Experts and any other Banking Executives as needed.

Ideal candidates will have experience with supporting the Salesforce platform preferably in a banking environment including Sales & Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, nCino Product Origination, Marketing Cloud.

TheSenior Salesforce Platform Product Ownerwill work under the direction of the Head of Product Management & Delivery for the Digital and Credit capabilities and will work closely with key stakeholders to develop the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, development, and maintenance of a healthy and resilient Salesforce platform. This will include release and environment management, production support management, pipeline orchestration, security settings, test automation, and additional DevOps functions to enable multiple partner development teams to deliver end user functionality. They will partner and represent the business, user community and project teams while carrying out their responsibilities for determining which features and functions are required to meet the company's mission and strategic goals. This individual should have proven leadership and communication skills, and be versed in agile methodologies.The Senior Salesforce Platform Product Owner will be responsible for collaborating with other Product Owner peers to ensure seamless integration in the Association solution sets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Leads the facilitation of Salesforce solutions and integrations across the organization, collaborating with business, legal, risk, operations, and technology teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that align with the company's mission and strategic goals.
  • Responsible for the governance, health, and optimization of the Salesforce Platform & Integration APIs.
  • Collaborate with the assigned business delivery team and product leaders to prioritize and manage the product backlog according to business value and dependent digital initiatives.
  • Responsible for owning, and maintaining the team-level Product Backlog, including definition of user stories and acceptance criteria, and working directly with business partners and the delivery team to successfully deliver value. Define, groom, and prioritize user stories including clarifying requirements to support the necessary business capabilities.
  • Collaborates with the Scrum Master of the Business Delivery Team to establish product release timelines and perform sprint planning with their team as well as other Business Delivery Teams to ensure technical and data infrastructures are aligned to support product delivery. Review completed development work to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been met and that features and stories meet the definition of done
  • Support strategic initiatives and align with cross-functional goals.
  • Ensure product aligns with company mission and strategic goals.
  • Responsible for ownership of product voice and vision and continual iterative development to deliver business value based off user feedback and alignment to American AgCredit's Digital & Credit Delivery roadmap.
  • Collaborates with other product owners on dependencies.
  • Adopts an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of sprint goals.
  • Continually drives product development towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, resource utilization, and technical feasibility.
  • Prepare and Manage Budget for all application licensing within respective portfolio.
  • The Salesforce Platform Team is responsible for 24 X 7 support and monitoring of the Salesforce Platform & APIs while using scheduling and monitoring toolsets (rotation schedule).

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Five or more years of experience working as a product owner or business analyst in a technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Salesforce architecture and tools (Copado). Preferably Salesforce experience in a financial industry, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce release and environment management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce market, and roadmap of the product/application.
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business delivery teams, leadership, senior management and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to clearly define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams.
  • Certification for Salesforce Administration/Consultation preferred but not required
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft office suite, and applicable databases.
  • Travel up to 15% may be required.

Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and sit at a desk for an extended period of time. Job requires extensive use of computers and phones. While performing the job, the employee is required to sit, crouch, kneel, crawl, reach and have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to work with typical hardware and cabling practices required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Must be able to interact effectively with people at all levels of company. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

FULL-TIME REMOTE:

These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.

PAY RANGE:

Minimum - $108,800.00 Midpoint - $136,000.00 Max - $170,000.000

This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
