Join the team and become part of our family!Charter Manufacturing's Corporate Office in Mequon, WI is hiring an HR Intern to join their team on a year-round basis! Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.Targeted Start Date: September 2021WHAT YOU WILL DO:Participate in the implementation of an enterprise-wide knowledge strategy within HR at CharterHelp create and maintain the Charter Manufacturing HR function Sharepoint siteLeverage technology to support and enable the HR functionContinuous Improvement project workPOSITION PURPOSE/MISSION: Become part of the Human Resources department while being exposed to varying HR and IT issues. Assist and/or lead multiple Human Resources and IT projects supporting the different facets of the business. Collaborate directly with other employees and work on projects independently. Grow through Charter's Internship values of communication, high expectations, accountability, responsibility, teamwork, exposure to business, and real-world work experience.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills to assist employees with questions.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Planning and organizational skills.Time management skills.Attention to detail.Ability to succeed in a team environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:HRIS experience.Customer service experience.Familiarity and/or experience with HR practices and HR law.POSITION CHALLENGES:Juggling multiple responsibilities and projects.Working independently with little direction.
