FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a liaison and leader with assigned business units to understand needs for Talent, HR services and Org Design while working within HR to convert talent, org and HR needs into actionable plans. The Senior HRBP maintains a strong focus on business needs and outcomes to assure HR team execution and service quality meets business unit expectations while assuring internal compliance with company policy and practice, external regulatory compliance, and the general ethical and social obligations inherent in society. This position serves as a mentor and coach for various HR roles and actively works to develop business relationships to influence business outcomes. The Senior HRBP is a key resource and advisor that works closely with HR Leadership and the Management Executive Committee (MEC) on strategic planning and direction to represent the HR function as a valued partner with business.

In addition, this position will drive process improvements working collaboratively with other HR team members and stakeholders. The projects they support vary in complexity and are high-visibility process excellence/improvement initiatives that span the HR department at American AgCredit. To inform their priorities and decisions this role will use data, input, and information to make strategic and efficient recommendations to the HR Leadership Team. Once approved, the role would own the revisions, rollout, execution, education, and ongoing maintenance of these process improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinates and collaborates with assigned business leaders as a consultative resource.
  • Works closely with the HR Leadership team to serve as the voice of the business.
  • Facilitate the project management for HR process improvements, HR policy and procedure development, ongoing activities, programs, and operational needs of the business.
  • Evaluate existing HR processes, quantifying, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies.
  • Utilizes process data and metrics to identify business process challenges, recommend and work in collaboration with impacted HR team members to implement innovative solutions.
  • Mentors and coaches HR team members to build a deep bench of HR skills, knowledge, and talent.
  • Continually assesses HR and Employee Experience service delivery to the business to support the evolving needs of the AAC business units. Works closely with HR team members to foster a sense of 'continuous improvement' throughout the team while also leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Works closely with peers in Talent Acquisition to identify, develop and implement strategies for the acquisition, recruiting and retention of staff.
  • Provides workforce planning input and support related to assigned business units and builds bench strength by ensuring organization wide commitment to talent strategy and management, and succession planning process.
  • Works closely with business leaders to assure consistency and execution of the organization's performance management strategy. Coaches' association leaders on performance management concepts and execution.
  • Works closely with assigned business units to proactively monitor, analyze and identify strategic needs, gaps, and risks related to HR service delivery to the business. Champions and leverages analytic reporting tools within HR to support business leaders with proactive analysis and evaluation of potential performance gaps, and development of strategies to close those gaps.
  • Assists L&D resources with development and delivery of leadership development programs for assigned business units.
  • Works closely with the HR Leadership to identify and develop programs, policies, and processes to meet the strategic people issues of the organization.
  • Champions a culture that promotes employee engagement and an environment where high performance is achieved with flexibility and adaptability to ongoing change.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:

Reports to the Head of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel required.

PAY RANGE:

Minimum - $105,520.00 Midpoint - $131,900.00 Max - $164,875.00

This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
