SRT is seeking a community relations coordinator to support internal and external events and projects that effectively promote our cooperative and the products and services we offer. This individual will represent SRT through events and collaborative partnerships, identify opportunities for community development, and build a positive culture within our organization.

Job Specifications

  • Coordinates and plans corporate events.
  • Provides support to local non-profits through donations, event participation, and partnership activation.
  • Organizes SRT’s college sponsorship programs and national Foundation for Rural Service programs.
  • Organizes the company’s donation/sponsorship program.
  • Supports employee relations, onboarding, and internal communications.
  • Coordinates and promotes employee involvement in community activities and events.
  • Communicates effectively with both internal and external volunteers/stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, non-profit or business management, or similar field
  • Three years professional marketing or event planning experience
  • Excellent communication skills
