HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Social Media Coordinator will contribute to the development, execution, and regular evaluation of ETR’s social media strategy. This position will create science-based, forward-thinking, inclusive content to promote ETR’s agency priorities, products, and services in content areas including alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD), sexual and reproductive health, school health and wellness, equity and inclusion in STEM, rural health, and trauma-informed practices. The Social Media Coordinator will work to expand ETR’s social media presence, engagement, and impact with select communities. We are looking for a candidate who enthusiastically embraces ETR’s mission, vision, and values around addressing and promoting health equity. This is a remote position and can work from anywhere in the United States.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent experience in related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with social media management in a professional setting.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with youth-centered or public health social media.
  • Ability to utilize social media design platforms such as Canva, Spark, or Figma.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people in a collaborative setting.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with all MS Office applications (Excel, Word), Outlook, and Internet.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to provide initiative and oversee a project with multiple tasks from conception to completion.
  • Ability to balance completion of assigned project tasks, both short and long-term, with the performance of routine duties.
  • Ability to meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively work in a remote setting.  

Location: Remote (work from home) employment.

Starting Pay Range: 66,900-74,300 annually.
