BMT is seeking a full-time .NET Developer to continuously develop the U.S. Navy’s Environment Program Requirements Portal. Developer will work with development team and clients to identify and resolve software development needs and organize and manage own time to meet project schedules while working on jobs simultaneously with minimal or no supervision. Good communication, high quality and excellent client service are important in this position. Responsibilities include:
Assist the designated project manager with activities and tasks associated with all stages of software life cycle development including requirements gathering, design, development, construction, implementation, and testing
Provide web development technical leadership, subject matter expertise, support, and mentoring to other project team members
Enhance and maintain existing web-based applications/systems/web sites
Provide assistance in administering and maintaining the Cornerstone web infrastructure
Create knowledgebase articles to disseminate web solutions to resources and clients
Perform other short-term and long-term tasks and duties as assigned by management to improve quality and client services
Applicant must be a US citizen and have or be eligible for a DoD security clearance. Company will not sponsor work visa or provide relocation for this position.

Qualifications:
BS Computer Science or equivalent and 3 -7 years’ work experience with MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Git Source Control, Bootstrap v3+, AngularJS, Angular 2+, React and/or other client-side JavaScript frameworks required
Experience applying database design principles and using databases in a web-based environment required
Experience with Web Security Standards with DoD standards preferred
1-3 years’ experience working directly with clients to understand client needs and work with develop teams to develop solutions and lead projects
Strong knowledge of: ASP.NET 4.0+, SQL Server 2014+, IIS 7.5+, C#, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and T-SQL
Proven ability to collaborate with and take direction from other team members and manage time to complete individual tasks on schedule
Ability to work in an existing code base with minimal impact to existing code
Familiar with web debugging in the browser in addition to using tools like Fiddler.
Ability to research, learn and apply new internet technologies relevant for web solutions development
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Excellent time management and organizational skills; must be extremely detail-oriented and follow quality standards
