POSITION SUMMARY
This position will assist with R&D of new product development and the transfer to manufacturing, both internal and CMO, in concert with the Principle Scientist.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in natural science with 0-1 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on laboratory experience through coursework is required
- Familiarity with buffer components using in life science research
- Ability to manage multiple projects
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform research including (75%):
- Operate chromatography columns, analyze data and report results.
- Grow and manipulate biological cell cultures.
- Operate all molecular biological tools including centrifuge, nanodrop spectrometer, gel electrophoresis, PCR, etc.
- Interface with electrical and mechanical engineering personnel (10%)
- Interface with Biological R&D personnel (10%)
- Interface with manufacturing personnel (5%)
