Job Description

We are conducting telephone and/or video conferencing interviews during the public health crisis.

Center Point is currently seeking a Division Director for our In-Custody Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) Programs.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for the overall quality of the ISUDT Program.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and hiring and training of program staff.
  • Work with CDCR and DRP and other appropriate staff in the planning, direction and coordination of all Program related activities.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports for senior management. Generate quarterly Board of Director’s reports. Generate reports, interpret data and develop corrective action plans.
  • Supervision, training, and development of Program Managers;
  • Compliance Monitoring and Management and participation in Utilization Reviews and Continuous Quality Improvement;
  • Experience conducting Quality Assurance and Utilization Review of program services;
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire and influence others;
  • Experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and narrative report writing;
  • Experience facilitating, training, and oversight of evidence-based treatment models and modalities in residential and outpatient treatment modalities;
  • Experience training and supervising cognitive behavioral therapy and other substance use disorder counseling methods, motivational interviewing, stages of change theory, and behavioral interventions;
  • Experience working with Criminal Justice, homeless, and at-risk populations;
  • Previous experience in staff supervision, quality assurance activities, providing clinical direction, and designing therapeutic interventions.
  • Schedule, plan, and project.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and generate corrective action plans and other development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with CDCR policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze ARMS data and other relevant data regarding the programs
  • Interact with Human Resources Department and provide reports as needed.
 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

The Division Director shall have a working knowledge of rehabilitative and SUDT Programs and must meet at least one (1) of the following requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three 3) years of supervising experience working in a SUDT Program.
  • An Associate’s Degree and at least two (4) years of supervisory experience working in a SUDT program.
  • Six (6) years of supervisory experience working in a SUDT Program.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with in-custody rehabilitative programs.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple teams in various locations throughout the State.
  • Shall be certified as an AOD Counselor, with a certifying organization recognized by DHCS
  • By time of hire obtain or have a valid California Driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and generate corrective action plans and other development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with CDCR and Center Point policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze ARMS data and other relevant data regarding the programs
  • Interact with Human Resources Department and provide reports as needed.
