Job Description

We are conducting telephone and/or video conferencing interviews during the public health crisis.


Due to restructuring in our Human Resources Department we are seeking an experienced payroll specialist - part-time or full-time. This is a full/time position. This position reports to the HR Administrator.

Duties: Payroll

• Process employee data ( new hires, changes, additional earnings and fringe benefits)
• Audit and reconcile a wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents
• Process employee time and attendance data from time cards to process payroll
• Develop in depth understanding of payroll reporting from payroll system to be able to create ad-hoc reports on demand
• Process accurate employee pay
• Ensure that payrolls are processed timely, accurately, and compliantly
• Facilitate and process employee benefits with specific finance/accounting/tax requirements
• Provide assistance to employee and H.R. in the area of pay, benefits and taxes as they relate to pay, how to submit time or time off requests, where to locate forms and information within the company, where to send completed forms, who to contact for benefit questions and how to obtain IRS instructions on withholding issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent).

• Minimum of 3 years' payroll administration experience for 100 plus employees.

• Demonstrated success to collaborate with others and think independently.
