Job Description
The Electronic Warfare Hardware and Special Projects Business Area is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in its Middletown, RI location to support the design and development of hardware and components for Antenna and Carry-on Systems.

Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) is a veteran-owned business, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the Navy for over 35 years.  Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the U.S. Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems.

Job Summary:
Tasking will include design and development of system components, design of mechanical hardware/kits for integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and non-COTS equipment, 3D modeling and manufacturing/assembly drawings in SolidWorks, and 2D drawings for assembly, production, and installation support. Collaboration with various other team members is required and may include integration of components from electrical, and RF/Microwave engineers.  Travel may be required to support fleet integration and installation events.

Education and Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years of experience.
The successful candidate would be team oriented, personable, detail oriented, and possess proficient technical writing and oral communication skills. Experience with SolidWorks and FEA is required.

Prior experience with US Navy/Submarine integration is ideal. Specific experience with Machining Equipment (basic 3-Axis CNC, Lathe, MIG/TIG Welding etc.) as well as Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Product Data Management (PDM) software a plus.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance is required; current clearance preferred!
