Job Description
SEA CORP’s Electronic Warfare (EW) business area is seeking a Systems Engineer. The EW business area specializes in research and development, software design, test, and delivery within the Department of Defense (DoD) and industry partners.

Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) is a veteran-owned business, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the Navy for over 35 years.  Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the U.S. Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems.

Job Summary:
The candidate will provide support in the development, review, and evaluation of requirements, and requirement specifications applicable to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs. The candidate will evaluate existing systems, and provide recommendations based on design changes, performance improvements, deficiency corrections, and new system capabilities. The candidate will generate requirements documents from high level capability statements, program roadmaps, stakeholder requirements, and concept documents. The candidate will engage with NAVAIR program managers and contribute to program materials and presentations. This tasking requires excellent written and verbal communication to deliver findings by using creative thinking, problem solving, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Regular program schedule review with government manager and industry partners
  • Highlight and manage risk and across the program critical path and report findings
  • Real-time identification and recommendation for areas of improvement and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with government manager on long-term program planning and financial management
Education and Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Field with minimum 25 year’s professional experience working with NAVAIR product lines is required.
