Job Description
SEA CORP is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer with experience in OHIO or COLUMBIA Class submarine Strategic Weapon Systems (SWS).

Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) is a veteran-owned business, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the Navy for over 35 years.  Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the U.S. Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems.

We have enjoyed steady, planned growth for over three decades, and have grown to over 400 people, with operations in multiple states.  Our strength lies in our highly trained and professional staff, who consistently exceed customer expectations. 

Job Summary:
The SWS Engineer will work closely with both customers and colleagues on assigned tasking and will perform requirements generation, interface development, systems engineering, integration and test for submarine systems that interface to the SWS. This position includes occasional overnight travel.

Education and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in SWS from a design and test capacity, or SWS operational experience on OHIO class submarines. Experience with SWS development processes is a bonus. The candidate should be computer literate, self-motivated, and able to utilize creative thinking in problem solving. This position requires the candidate to be comfortable working in a shipyard and/or military environment.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, however in lieu of a formal degree, significant experience with submarine operational will be accepted.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret level DoD clearance are required.
