Job Description
SEA CORP in Middletown, RI is looking for a Senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to manage a team of multi-discipline engineers and CAD modelers/designers to support design, development and integration of submarine systems for the Electronic Warfare (EW) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), as well as other special projects, at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport.

Job Summary:
In addition to providing leadership to staff, the incumbent will be responsible to manage budget planning for each project, work with concept development, and ensure that plans meet company or client needs and engineering standards. The ideal candidate will offer guidance throughout the design process and inspect and sign off on design plans to ensure that they meet quality standards. Duties will also include conducting design analyses including but not limited to: thermal management, power conditioning/distribution, Radio Frequency (RF) distribution design, and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) compliance.  ISEA systems engineering duties to include recommendations to improve system Provisioning Technical Data (PTD), Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), level-of-repair analysis, APL support, IETM support, obsolescence survey process via SMART uploads, IETM content and MRC content.  This position will also provide Form Fit Function analysis of alternatives and T&E to replace obsolete system components and support of hardware drawing configuration control in the SWFTS community.  Familiarization with ISEA change documentation, ECP, ECI, TFBR, TMDER, DCN, etc. preferred.
As a manager, this position is responsible for providing effective staffing strategies and workflow controls, and supporting new business development initiatives for government and non-government opportunities.  Duties will also include the improvement of corporate Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, Configuration Management System workflow controls, and design control processes in support of direct government system acquisitions from NAVSUP and DLA. 

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, MS in technical discipline is preferred.
