Center Point DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center)is currently seeking skilled and dedicated Part-Time Licensed or Intern Clinician to join our team in our Drug Court Program.

The Licensed Clinician is responsible for providing trauma-informed services for program participants. The Clinician provides an environment where the psychological, social and developmental needs of the participants can be addressed. The Clinician conducts assessments and reviews initial assessments and re-assessments to determine medical necessity for Medi-Cal approved treatment services based on ASAM guidelines.

The Clinician may provide individual and group counseling that addresses family relationships; the impact of trauma; substance abuse; and co-occurring disorders. The Licensed Clinician performs a variety of therapeutic interventions and case management duties, advocates for clients' needs, evaluates each client's mental status and identifies community resources. The Clinician maintains up to date records and provides clinical training for program staff.

Applicant must be a Licensed or Intern Clinical Social Worker, Licensed or Intern Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed or Intern Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing alcohol and drug treatment program. Training and work experience should clearly demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, document chart entries accurately, demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills and have knowledge of evidence-based practices.
