Must be willing to work one of the shifts available:
Monday - Thursday, 5:30pm - 4:00am, or
Friday - Sunday, 7:00am - 7:00pm
Experience as a Lead or working on team projects is strongly desired for this entry-level salaried supervisor role.
The focus of the Production Supervisor is to develop, own, and execute the production schedule and lead a team with excellent safety, quality, cost, on-time delivery, and inventory performance. This position is a great opportunity for someone to come into the company with great upward opportunity. Hire, Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees and teams
Drive operational continuous improvement, with measurable results in Safety, Quality, OTD and Cost
Develop, publish, and perform to production schedule
Hold self and others accountable to key performance metrics
Gather and track data for key performance metrics
Quickly understand product flow and be able to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the process
Assign employees to work stations and schedules
Supervise output and maintain production rates set forth for all resources
Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
Manage shift performance appraisal, employee relations (including to recommend discharge if needed), and resolving conflicts
Other duties as assigned
5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated leadership of projects or people
Lean Six-Sigma experience preferred
Drive to grow career and responsibilities required
Previous experience in a manufacturing required
Strong analytical aptitude and a data driven way of managing others
BS in Engineering, Operations management, Supply Chain or similar preferred, significant experience in management considered.
Master’s degree preferred
Knowledge of MRP operations preferred.
