As an Assembler (Electrical), you will Performs highly diversified wiring, connecting and assembling of all types of electrical systems and controls. You will make neat, orderly and balanced panel wire arrangements laying out wiring procedures and sequences. You will work from wiring diagrams, schematics and assembly drawings requiring knowledge of symbols and can make minor modifications on systems from oral instructions using necessary tools. For both Assembler Mech/Elect you will own sufficient tools (see list) to carry out work in this job classification.
Requirements:About you:
HARSCO Rail is only hiring 2nd Shift at this time: 2:00 pm -10 :00 pm, there is a $.85 shift bonus for this role.
You must have trade knowledge of the proper installation of working components. Please have the ability to interpret fairly complicated instructions or drawings. Equivalent of 2 years high school plus 2-3 years trades training or 4 years high school. Perform the job successfully with a High School Diploma or GED. You will have the ability to lay out work sequence using drawings with assistance or written instructions. You will dismantle and reassemble parts of electrical and mechanical nature. You will work in a neat, orderly and safe manor and demonstrate team based working relationship. For Assembler (Elect), You will have the ability to install wiring arrangements on control panels to connections given on wiring diagrams or schematic using necessary tools, such as electrical drills, wire cutters, soldering iron, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
