Job Description
Position Summary
Design Consulting, MEP Associates, LLC, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team in our Columbus, OH office. MEP Associates is a nationally recognized Sustainable Engineering design firm with a heavy focus in renewable energy resources. This position will require providing technical leadership for the creation of construction drawings and specifications, existing system studies and master planning efforts. Qualified candidates will meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors and others to address engineering issues to develop effective working relationships.Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to work cooperatively in a positive, professional manner with in-house design staff as well as interface with other engineering disciplines, architects, owners and clients.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems design for commercial building applications.
- Knowledge in the design of HVAC systems
- Fluency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency in CAD/Revit
- Familiarity with current design processes.
- Experience in consulting engineering field (HVAC System Design
- Ability to demonstrate successful Project Management Skills
- Knowledge of current OH codes, and current client relationships in Columbus area
Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods of time
