Job Description
Job Summary:

SEA CORP is a growing company based in Middletown, RI that has an immediate full-time opening for a Training Specialist II/III to support Towed Array Handling System Training at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI.  This position provides Organizational as well as Intermediate Level training for all current submarine Towed Array Handling systems.  The ideal candidate is someone who has experience operating and maintaining Submarine Towed Array Handling Systems, a strong mechanical background, and a passion for providing Fleet sailors with the knowledge required to keep their ships in top condition!
This position will provide training primarily at NUWC Division Newport but will also require travel 2-3 times per year for up to two weeks at a time.

Education and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering. Advanced submarine towed systems technical training (e.g. Navy “C” School) and 7 years of experience in submarine towed handling systems (e.g. service aboard a naval ship) may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. The ideal candidate will have five to ten years of experience developing training packages and instructing in a classroom/lab/shipboard environment.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance is required.
