We will be interviewing for part-time and on-call Beverage Servers, Cooks, Stewarding Attendants, and more for our bars and restaurants at our on-property Hiring Event on Monday, June 19th from 4-7pm at the Team Member Entrance. Responsibilities
COOK (PART-TIME) JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Prepares foods that are to be grilled, fried, broiled, baked, boiled, braised, poached, etc.; ensures that all plates or pans are aesthetically appealing and cooked to the specifications of the customer and the chef when served.
- Recognizes a variety of sauces and properly places them on all entrees featured on daily menus.
- Keeps workstation neat and clean.
- Assists co-workers to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- On occasion may perform similar duties for special events/ parties.
- Ensures cleanliness of working area; reports all equipment for safety failures, hazardous areas and accidents.
- Ensures the proper storing of any foods, including those from a previous function.
- Ensures that items are fully stocked, and equipment is in good working condition.
- Ensures the proper closing down of workstations.
- Assists with other duties at special events or parties and assisting where necessary to include but not limited to carving, cooking, set up and or teardown stations or work areas or other duties as assigned.
- Attends and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
- Performs work regularly and predictably.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
BEVERAGE SERVER (ON CALL) JOB DESCRIPTION

- Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Adheres to food and beverage policies and Virginia ABC laws.
- Completes all required set-up duties on time.
- Keeps station clean at all times.
- Promotes customer service relations.
- Responsible for settling guest checks.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Beverage Manager.
STEWARDING ATTENDANT (DISHWASHING, PART-TIME) JOB DESCRIPTION
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol d their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Follows and maintains department objectives, standards, and guidelines to ensure proper operation of department. Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of food lines and self-service stations.
- Transport all food items from kitchen to respective areas.
- Assist in the kitchen with preparation of products and dish washing to ensure an adequate supply of dishes and utensils at all times.
- Maintain all beverage areas with all necessary beverages.
- Complete all set-up duties on time.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of assigned area and kitchen as required.
- Assists in the main kitchen with the preparation of various dishes as required.
- Uses proper transfer slips for all items coming and going to the Kitchen.
- Load all dinner plates, dessert plates, and bowls in proper areas.
- Put away and rotate all food storeroom orders.
- Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to Hard Rock safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments.
- Maintains open lines of communications with the Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
- Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
