• Book Processors

The Book Processor transforms books into library books by attaching labels, book pockets, protective covers, and more to each book according to each customer's specific instructions. Work is done at the Processor’s personal workstation and can be done standing or seated. Position includes a production incentive plan.

• Pickers

Pickers walk the aisles to pick books from shelves to fill customer orders. Extensive walking required; production incentive available.

• Shippers/Packers

Shippers/Packers pack books into cartons, stack cartons on pallets, and load cartons and pallets into trailers for shipment. Standing and lifting required, production incentive available.

• Quality Assurance (QA) Clerks

QA Clerks check orders prior to packing to ensure the correct books were picked and, where applicable, processed according to the customer’s specifications. Standing required.

• Book Processing Support Clerks (BPSCs)

BPSCs provide various support functions for the Book Processing team including distribution of replacement books, trimming of lamination, etc. Standing and walking required.
