History
OceanFirst has been headquartered in NJ since 1902, and we are really proud of that fact.  Our founders were establishing our roots in this great state the same year Theodore Roosevelt became the first American President to ride in an automobile and the first college football bowl game, the Rose Bowl was held. Initially, our focus was helping our neighbors realize the dream of owning a home. Now, more than a century stronger, we're still here, helping fulfill those dreams and helping families with all their financial needs during every stage of life.

Whether it's home ownership, building a business, teaching children the value of saving, financing higher education, or planning for the future, our goal is to help all of our neighbors reach their financial goals.
