Since our company was founded in 1989, our team members have been on a mission: to transform the built environment one relationship at a time. Our story started with three engineers who shared the vision of building a professional construction management consulting company based on six core values: integrity, quality, teamwork, drive, innovation, and community. Now, over 30 years later, we continue to provide tailor-made solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges, and we are looking for individuals to join our team who bring innovative ideas and a passion for the built environment.
As an ENR top-100 construction management services firm, MBP provides construction management and consulting services that are scalable and tailored to the needs of our clients. As true owner’s representatives, we become an integrated member of our clients’ team – assisting in making important decisions along the way and utilizing our lessons learned and technical expertise to identify project risk and develop creative solutions. This includes strategic planning and initial budgeting, through design and construction, to project closeout and training.
We are passionate about investing in the success of our team members and the achievement of our organizational goals. We offer both in-person and online training programs, so team members can continually work to advance their career any time they see fit. We also have a robust mentoring program and a focus on ensuring that our team members are given the tools they need to succeed. MBP offers some of the most comprehensive benefits and professional development programs in the industry. We know that to be the best, we need the best people.
This commitment to team members has earned us countless awards including recognition as a Washington Post Top Workplace, a Zweig White Best Firm to Work For, and a best place to work in Virginia by Virginia Business. We believe in building a career path for each team member and in embracing diversity by supporting an inclusive workplace by bringing diversity awareness to our team, respecting and welcoming all team members, and appreciating differences in our talents, skills and experiences. MBP is also recognized by the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program as a V3 certified employer. V3 is a Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Veterans Services (DVS) program that provides resources and assistance to employers by helping them implement nationally recognized best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans. At MBP, we have close to 40 veterans serving throughout the organization from our on-site project personnel to our CEO.
