Fibertek, Inc. is a small Virginia based Company formed in 1985 providing  leading edge laser and electro-optics Research and Development (R&D) and full-service Engineering Services (ES) solutions for our DoD, Aerospace and NASA customers.

BUSINESS AREAS

Research and Development: Fibertek produces state-of-the-art lasers and laser-based systems for the military and aerospace markets. We specialize in the research, design, development, manufacturing and testing of advanced solid-state and fiber lasers, laser communication, and sophisticated electro-optical sensor systems. Our unique ability as a small company to deliver space flight hardware and our pioneering work in electro-optical systems allowed us to become a globally recognized industry leader.

Engineering Services: Our Engineering Services division has been a Prime and Sub contractor for over 25 years on multiple IDIQ contracts supporting the Army Night Vision Laboratory, Army Research Laboratory, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. By teaming with other small and large businesses we have created unique value for our government customers with tremendous technical breadth that takes on a wide variety of tasks from infrastructure and logistics to state-of-the-art Military and Civil Space systems.

FACILITY

Our modern 50,000 sq. ft. Headquarters and R&D facility in Herndon Virginia has everything required to perform cutting edge research, manufacturing, and space instrument development.

This vertically integrated facility includes fully-equipped optical/laser and electronics labs with over 10,000 sq. ft. of clean room space.

We use a Product Life-Cycle Management approach for the hardware manufactured in the facility and our manufacturing processes are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
