Company Overview

Who We Are

CP Marine LLC is a subsidiary of Goldbelt, Incorporated, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Juneau, Alaska. CP Marine LLC was originally formed as a corporation named Cultural Preservation, Inc., and was incorporated on January 20, 1995. On March 1, 2013, Cultural Preservation, Inc. was converted into a limited liability company and renamed CP Marine LLC.

Throughout its existence, CP Marine LLC has provided marina services at the Seadrome building in Juneau, Alaska, and will continue to do so, although this will now become a tertiary business line. In 2017, Goldbelt identified a new mission for CP Marine LLC to become a Pacific Northwest-based federal government contractor. Goldbelt subsidiaries have participated in the 8(a) program for approximately 20 years. During that time, Goldbelt has consistently sought to find career opportunities for Alaska Native shareholders (and their descendants) in its government contracting operations.

We see the need to develop an integrative solution for DoD contractors to meet Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7012, specifically focusing on Operational Technology (OT) networks that include Industrial Control Systems (ICS). This DFARS forms the basis of the new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which will be implemented in 2020, and will require DoD contractor information systems to be rated compliant by an independent third-party assessment organization, like CP Marine LLC, per NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171 controls. Compliance with this standard will be considered a critical component of eligibility for DoD contractors conducting business with the DoD.

Supporting Your Cybersecurity Needs

  • CP Marine LLC offers flexible, integrative solutions for DoD contractors, among others. We specialize in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. Our specific focus on Operational Technology (OT) networks allows us the expertise to assess and rate DoD contractor information systems as compliant in accordance with new DFARS standards. Compliance with these standards will be considered a critical component of eligibility for DoD contractors conducting business with the DoD.
