Widely regarded as one of the most innovate and influential destinations in the snow sports and mountain biking industries, Big Bear Mountain Resort features two properties – Bear Mountain and Snow Summit – that have been pushing the progression of skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking for over 75 years while offering distinctive experiences for guests seeking outdoor adventure, including the largest beginner areas, highest-lift served peak, and only halfpipes in Southern California as well as the region’s best lift-served bike park and an idyllic 9-hole course. Located in the San Bernardino Mountains, Big Bear Mountain Resort was acquired by Alterra Mountain Company in 2017 and is an Ikon Pass member resort.

As the home of Southern California’s best snow conditions, most rideable terrain, and premier lift-served bike park, Big Bear Mountain Resort employees are able to enjoy two unique mountains and are eligible to receive retail and food discounts, season passes for dependents, and ski free at 14 Ikon Pass destinations, including Snow Summit and Bear Mountain.
