JOB SUMMARY |
The Administrative Assistant provides daily clerical and administrative support services for the inside/outside Civil Construction department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
|
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Accounting knowledge and experience preferred.
- One-year experience providing administrative support in an office environment preferred.

|
- Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations.
- Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Good punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills are critical.
- Must maintain professional confidentiality.
- Must be able to effectively work independently & within a team environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Answer field calls from Superintendents.
- Updates Excel spreadsheets and Access worksheets daily.
- Log and process new work orders for Southern California Edison (SCE).
- Maintain project master worksheet and other electronic files for Civil customers.
- Gather and review all necessary back up documentation for completed projects.
- Follow up with field Superintendent/Tasker on billing for projects that have been complete, but not fully billed.
- Prepare and submit billing to Civil customers through assigned website.
- Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor's authorization.
- Submit daily crew lists to SCE.
- Process monthly and quarterly accruals.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

- Starting at $20 - $30 per hour DOE
