Production Technician II

As a Production Technician II, you’ll support the Bio-Rad Manufacturing plant producing specialized life science products that researchers and scientists need to make healthcare breakthroughs and save lives. You’ll be given the opportunity to implement continuous process improvements. Throughout this process you will gain a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and will gain knowledge daily to ensure we maintain the highest standards and deliver those high quality products out to customers. In conjunction with the plate coating team, this role may be subjected to be cross-functional between packaging, filling and any other production areas.

 

The Bio-Rad Global Supply Chain’s Manufacturing teams focus on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers’ expectations.  This role is based in our Woodinville, Wa facilities.

What You Bring: 

• Education:  High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required.

• 2 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

• Experience working on Excel and SAP naviagtion experience is a plus.

• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.  

• Teamwork, collaboration and ability contributing to a positive team culture

• Professionalism and strong work ethic.

• Focus on attention to document detail orientation and accuracy in written communication.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $20.86 to $28.65 per hour at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
