Director of Nursing Job Details:
- Hours - Full-Time

Responsibilities:
- Director of Nursing completed initial assessment of prospective clients requesting an assessment and develops a proposed service plan prior to the date on which a client signs a residency agreement or moves in, if possible.
- Implements service agreements with all new clients.
- Reviews and revises service plans as needed due to changes in clients' needs and a minimum of once every 12 months.
- Oversee medication management protocols, including storage, administration, and disposal.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and unlicensed personnel.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards for resident care.
- Conducts evaluation of staff performance of delegated nursing services in coordination with the housing manager through appropriate documentation and consistent with personnel policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and families to address resident health concerns.
- Promotes a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
- Registered and licensed RN in the State of Minnesota, license must be current.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in home health, assisted living or long-term care supervising staff.
- Valid Driver's license
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to tasks
