Job Summary
Facilitate the dispatch of aircraft and flight training devices used by Auburn University School of Aviation and its Department of Professional Flight, to include the reporting and tracking of aircraft maintenance events.

  • Operational hours extend from 4:30am-9:00pm Monday-Saturday; candidate MUST be available to work some Saturdays.

Essential Functions
  • Dispatches training flights, simulators, and ground lessons in accordance with the published daily schedule and assigns resources necessary to support flight training.
  • Ensures accurate aircraft status is displayed in the computer-based management system.
  • Works closely with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft availability.
  • Assists with inventory tracking of training materials and supplies.
  • Assists in student records management.
  • Schedules aircraft re-fueling with airport.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Enrolled student at Auburn University.

Expectations:
  • Must have clear communication skills as job duties include speaking over radio to pilots.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with a focus on customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with iOS and Microsoft Office Suite are strongly desired.
Pay Rate $15.00/hour
Work Hours 20 (some Saturdays)
