THE JOB:
As a Steward Supervisor, your role entails overseeing specific operational tasks within the department. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience, greeting them warmly and providing exceptional service. By attentively listening to their individual stories and requirements, you'll take ownership of their experience, crafting unforgettable memories that extend far beyond their time with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee designated operational tasks within the department in alignment with the strategic plan, financial budget, and the company's short and long-term profitability goals.
Manage assigned personnel, including making hiring recommendations in line with the company's diversity pledge, conducting training sessions, providing coaching, delivering performance evaluations, suggesting and implementing disciplinary actions, and creating schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and kitchen spaces to uphold cleanliness and sanitary standards
Offer recommendations for innovations in products, services, technology, and procedures.
Ensure all equipment undergoes routine inspections to verify proper mechanical functionality.
Aid in managing inventory and maintaining records for dinnerware, flatware, and glassware
Coordinate the ordering of china, glass, and silver. Support in monitoring temperature and chemical solution levels for dishwashing, pot washing, and storage
Assist in monitoring temperature and chemical solution requirements for dishwashing, pot washing and storage
Requisition new and replacement equipment as needed

Has 2 or more years of prior work experience as a stewarding supervisor or equivalent
Has a High School Diploma or equivalent
Has experience using SDS tracking systems
Can work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
