Software Engineer II

ISHPI is currently seeking outstanding candidates in support of the Navy Warfare Development Center to provide support for helpdesk, application, database web development and maintenance support. 

This role will be responsible for analyzing and studying complex system requirements by utilizing research, discovery and development fundamentals. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reutilization, domain analysis, and implementation management. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, CASE tools, or other accepted design techniques. Estimates software development schedules, reviews existing programs through RDT&E, and assists in making refinements,reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or other closely related scientific or technical discipline with eight (8) years of experience of which at least three (3) years must be specialized. If a candidate holds a master’s degree (in the fields described above), five (5) years’ experience of which at least one (1) year must be specialized. If a candidate possesses at least ten (10) years of experience of which at least eight (8) years are
specialized, a degree is not required.

JavaScript Level II: 3 years practical experience
View JS Level II: 3 years practical experience
Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Level II: 2 years practical experience
Microsoft SharePoint 2019 Level II: 2 years practical experience
Navy NWL Level II: 1 years practical experience
Navy FIMS Level II: 1 years practical experience

Certification Requirement: IAT Level II such as Comptia Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, CND SSCP or above. 

Clearance Requirement: Selected candidate must a U.S. Citizen and have an active security clearance.
