Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago is seeking a Project Associate to provide support to two major projects focused on advancing strategies to promote child and family well-being and preventing child welfare involvement. The individual will assist in maintaining a project work plan, monitoring project progress, managing routine tasks and scheduling of meetings, developing agendas for internal team meetings and following up on action items, supporting storage and organization of documents and data files, identifying opportunities to streamline day-to-day work, and leveraging appropriate tools and skillsets to optimize team resources and the quality and timeliness of project deliverables.
This is an ideal position for an individual with strong project management and data visualization skills and a specific interest in services for children and families, economic and concrete supports, and prevention of child welfare involvement. In addition to project work, the Project Associate will play a knowledge management role by maintaining an internal inventory of relevant resources for staff as well as developing high quality power point presentations with data visualizations for national audiences for a large team of policy analysts and fellows. The position will report to Policy Fellow Yasmin Grewal-Kök. Work will be conducted remotely, with the possibility of occasional business travel within the continental United States.

Chapin Hall adheres to a competitive market-aligned salary structure for all its administrative, policy, and research roles. Starting salaries within posted ranges are determined by the Chapin Hall Human Resources Department using a consistent, rigorous, and equitable review process.
