The Department of Politics and International Relations, in the Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs at Florida International University in Miami, FL, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) position in American Politics and Political Theory, with a focus on online teaching and learning. Ability to teach online courses in American Politics and Political Theory (especially the introductory courses in these fields) is a must. A successful candidate will have significant experience with, and demonstrated effectiveness in, fully online teaching modalities. This faculty member will support online teaching in PIR and will assist the Director of Online Learning in this role. A Ph.D. in Political Science or a related discipline is required. The anticipated starting date is August 13, 2024.
