Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure network infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment
  • Administer and configure network inspection/routing hardware (firewalls, routers, etc.)
  • Administer and configure Linux (Preferred: Debian, Ubuntu and CENTOS) server and desktop operating systems.
  • Linux shell scripting (sh, ksh or bash)
  • Install, configure and maintain internal networks, file servers, application servers, and workstations
  • Administer and configure VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, VxRail and other virtualization technologies
  • Administer and configure DNS server Linux infrastructure with FreeIPA/Bind
  • Maintain Nutanix clusters

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, Min 3 years with PhD

 

Three (3) years of recent and relevant working experience is required in the following focus areas:

  • Administer and configure network infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment
  • Administer and configure network inspection/routing hardware (firewalls, routers, etc.)
  • Administer and configure Linux (Preferred: Debian, Ubuntu and CENTOS) server and desktop operating systems.
  • Linux shell scripting (sh, ksh or bash)
  • Install, configure and maintain internal networks, file servers, application servers, and workstations
  • Administer and configure VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, VxRail and other virtualization technologies
  • Administer and configure DNS server Linux infrastructure with FreeIPA/Bind
  • Maintain Nutanix clusters

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in scripting and/or programming in a high-level language (i.e. Python, Powershell)
  • Administer and configure Cisco network devices
  • Site-to-site VPN management
  • Deep knowledge on Linux netfilter/iptables
  • Experience scripting automated provisioning of hosts and firewall/network appliances (e.g. Docker, etc.)
  • Experience managing Splunk arrays
  • Perform systems, network, and software engineering to support operational and investigative activities

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
