Flex schedule with non-traditional hours (includes evenings and weekends)

JOB PURPOSE:  The Program Coordinator is responsible for securing home studies and post release service cases from the national unaccompanied child portal for the Home Study and Post Release Services (HSPRS) program. The Program Coordinator works with the HSPRS Placement Supervisor to plan for and select cases from the portal and ensure that the HSPRS program is on target to meet case load requirements.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Select home studies and post release service cases from the national UC portal and assign cases to the appropriate case manager.
  • Track caseloads and ensure that case managers meet required caseload compliance.
  • Track the number of cases accepted from the UAC portal to ensure that program is meeting
    requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and resource coordination to assist program staff and partner organizations.
  • Assist with technical and proposal writing.
  • Comply with policies and procedures governing the program and ensure that the program is operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Assist with ongoing desk monitoring and case audits of local case managers implementing this program.
  • Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis.
  • Other duties as assigned

                                                                                                                                             

EDUCATION:  Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, non-profit management, or related field from an accredited college or university

WORK LOCATION:  Remote position. Must have access to a home office to provide confidential and private work or have flexibility to change work locations to an office setting as appropriate.

OTHER:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience relevant to the position and working with vulnerable or migrant populations; 3 years preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able and willing to travel domestically up to 25% of time.
  • Must pass FBI and CA/N checks
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
