Job Description

Job Description

Torch Technologies Inc. is looking for a LabVIEW programmer that will support development of multiple test platforms across a variety of systems.   The duties will consist of the development of software for the use in Test Program Sets.  Some travel will be required. This position is readily available and is of immediate need.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient with LabVIEW, and Test Stand
  • Troubleshooting testing software
  • Experience with design and development of ATE/Test systems
  • Conducting and participating in design discussions and code reviews
  • Experience in functional verification of devices using various communications protocols like serial, CAN, ethernet, etc
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to review and analyze system requirements
  • Creating technical documentation for internal and external clients that accurately describe the configuration of technology utilized to implement a solution
  • Ability to interpret schematics, specifically interconnecting hardware (ITA/ICD’s, and cabling)
  • Working in a Lab and Depot environment for the purpose of integration of TPSs.
  • Developing diagnostic tests using Test requirement Documents (TRDs)
  • Mentorship of engineering staff in the use of software solutions.
  • Hands on with handling third party equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and power load tools
Job Requirements

Experience with one or more of the following areas is considered beneficial:

  • ATE/TPS experience
  • Avionics LRUs
  • Knowledge of C#, TestStand, LabView, LabWindows CVI, Atlas programming software
  • ICD/ITA fixture design
  • RF Engineering
  • Reverse Engineering

Education and Experience Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of related Software Engineering experience
  • Experience developing applications with NI LabVIEW
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical failures
     

Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance.  Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
