Operating Room Device Technician

• Performs all primary tasks, job duties, and responsibilities listed under Circulating RN, Surgical Technologist, LPN or Sterile Processing Tech job description.
• Attends at least 80% of bi-weekly Ortho Direct meetings (24/26 meetings).
• Participates in one LEAN project per year that will either eliminate waste and improve efficiency or has a cost savings of at least $2500 to be approved by OR manager.
• Completes all ordering of sterile supplies and instruments needed for scheduled cases specific to Ortho Direct
• Reviews scheduled cases to determine case needs
• Completes all reports requested to measure metrics
• Will mentor with Ortho Direct consultant
• Works directly with only OrthoDirect Surgical cases. Specifically Spine and Orthopedic
• Collaborates directly with Ortho Direct physicians and designated staff

Education Experience:

• Must have an RN or LPN License or
• Be a Sterile Processing Technologist experience or
• Surgical Technologist experience
• Current BLS or complete within 6 months of hire
