Job Description

As a .NET Developer, you'll support the building and maintaining of mission-critical applications for our federal customer. This is an opportunity to collaborate with customers and advance your career in technology modernization with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and end users) to analyze and understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Maintain existing software programs; make approved changes by developing detailed programming logic and coding changes.
  • Actively look for performance improvements across our applications including our end-user experiences.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects to find creative and elegant solutions to improve the current state of our applications while also designing for our future state.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems, along with adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high-quality business outcomes.
  • Apply best practices as it relates to authentication, authorization (Policies, Claims and Roles), input validation (Data Annotations and ModelState)

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 4 years of web development experience with .NET Core and .Net Framework including MVC & Web Forms and 4 years of experience working with relational databases (Oracle).
  • Experience with designing and implementing secure, high volume, mission critical, productions systems and the ability to work with REST APIs and service-oriented architectural designs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS, along with experience with Source control tools (Bitbucket/GIT).
  • Experience writing Integration and Unit test while developing (Xunit, MSTest, Nunit) and hands-on agile scrum methodology experience is a must.
