Job Description

We are now hiring for a Landscape Architect. This position can be based at any of our locations (Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, or Reedsburg). The Landscape Architect is responsible for drawing up plans using CAD software, site surveyance, being a client liaison, writing and analyzing reports, drawing up contracts, and working collaboratively with other planners and engineers.

Main Responsibilities Include:
  1. Assist with all aspects of project development including conceptual design, construction documents, construction details and construction administration
  2. Assess physical and environmental features of a site; assess planned projects for opportunities and constraints, and review for code compliance
  3. Design, develop and modify drawings
  4. Integrate innovative sustainable design strategies and construction methods into project work
  5. Attend project team meetings
  6. Conduct research on various aspects of project development and prepare site review and analyze documents
  7. Carry out special projects and assignments that contribute to the operation of the firm, such as assistance with marketing materials and development of office documents
  8. Assure Vierbicher document standards are met and archive documents appropriately

We are looking for candidates with 3 or more years of experience, the ability to obtain their landscape architecture license, and experience with CAD or Civil 3D.
