Avionics Flight Line Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Avionics Flight Line Technicians in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Position Summary:

To assist in the transfer of helicopters from the Production line to Flight Line. Perform incoming inspections. Assemble, modify & install wire bundles, components, and other avionic equipment. Perform function testing in accordance with applicable job cards.  Perform aircraft test procedures to avionic systems. Perform crimping and de-pin and pin of electrical connectors. Perform troubleshooting activity on avionic systems. General knowledge of ground support equipment.

Job Duties:

• Testing of avionic systems
• Install avionic equipment and troubleshooting
• Ensure cleanliness of hangar area and workspace
• Preparing helicopter for customer delivery
• On the Job Training
• Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma. A college degree is a plus.
• 5 years rotor wing aviation experience
