Position Summary
The position is directly responsible for maintaining inventory and product placement for The Crib, an on-site store where our families shop for baby items. This individual will be responsible for receiving product orders, assisting couples with merchandise purchases, vendor and product maintenance in the Point-of-Sale system, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains product inventory
- Maintain offsite warehouse storage inventory
- Receives orders for the Crib store
- Stock product merchandise in the onsite store
- Maintains Crib store tidiness
- Maintain Vendor and Product data in the Point-of-Sale system
- Assist with program couple purchases
- Maintains current knowledge of best practices for safe baby products
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Training
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Experience
Retail, Sales, or Customer Service knowledge preferred
Special Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Microsoft Office Applications, proficiency in Excel and Word
- Experience with social service programs preferred
